This song was written in 2013 in memory of my grandparents. My Nana lost her mind long before she passed, but my Gramp was always there right beside her. He loved her deeply, which was not necessarily something that the outside world could have known or seen as they went through the lives, day to day, gardening and cooking and watching the occasional baseball game on television when the weather permitted.

They were my safe place in the world, and I miss them every day. ❤️
